Across the southern edge of the Sahara, network engineers worked under 44°C heat, red dust swirling around them, tracking down network issues street by street.
In rough seas with force-seven waves in the Atlantic, optical network experts fought severe seasickness, working side by side with customers to locate faults and restore connectivity.
On plateaus 4,300 meters above sea level, service teams pushed through oxygen shortages and –15°C cold to fine-tune optical and energy storage systems, bringing green power to thousands of homes.
At 4:30 a.m. in customer data centers, R&D teams raced against the quietest traffic window, urgently deploying solutions refined over 30 intense days.
HarmonyOS engineers worked late into the night with partners, starting from the very first food order, the first note shared, the first trip taken—steadily improving the user experience.

In 2025, we helped operators build 5G-A networks, delivering ultra-fast connectivity to 60 million users.
With ecosystem partners, HarmonyOS evolved from “usable” to truly “good to use,” with over 36 million devices now running HarmonyOS 5.0 or above.
Together with automakers, Qiankun Intelligent Driving equipped more than 1.4 million vehicles with smart driving systems, supporting nearly 7 billion kilometers of assisted driving and protecting every journey.
Kunpeng grew to over 6,800 partners and 3.8 million developers, with openEuler installations surpassing 16 million. Ascend built an ecosystem of 3,000 partners and 4 million developers, with Atlas 900 supernodes supporting industries from internet and finance to power and telecom—laying a solid computing foundation.
We brought AI into real-world industries—from medical pathology and steel furnace temperature prediction to oil and gas exploration—creating new value together.
Alongside our green energy partners, we generated over 2 trillion kWh of green electricity, saved 150 billion kWh, and reduced emissions by 1.06 billion tons—equivalent to planting 1.45 billion trees.
